Stolen cafeteria food results in arrest

Police arrested a 46-year-old man after he allegedly stole food from a hospital cafeteria and then threatened a security guard with a knife.

According to Turlock Police, officers were called to Emanuel Medical Center at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday. Andrew Berg had grabbed food from the cafeteria and refused to pay for it.

When a security guard confronted Berg, the suspect threatened the guard with a butter knife. He was arrested on a robbery charge.
