Modesto City Schools will offer information nights for students considering special high school programs. The deadline to apply to switch schools to enroll in a special program is Feb. 28.
The International Baccalaureate program is a rigorous, internationally accredited college preparatory program. The Performing Arts Academy is a school within a school, where students take core classes using the arts as a foundation. Recognized by the state as a California Partnership Academy, courses cover all aspects of the performing arts, including scenery, costuming, makeup, sound, lighting, business, theater management, dance, drama, gymnastics, vocal performance and photography.
