A 23-year-old man was stabbed twice during a fight in south Modesto on Wednesday afternoon. The injuries were not life-threatening.
At about 1:15 p.m., the victim was leaving La Aurora Market and Liquor in the 1100 block of Boulder Avenue when he was confronted by three Latino men, said Modesto police spokeswoman Heather Graves
The men accused the victim of stealing from neighbors and then began physically assaulting him; at least one of them stabbed him in the arm and chest, then left in a dark-colored car.
The victim was treated at the hospital. He was not cooperative with officers, and the suspects have not been located, Graves said.
