An Oakdale woman was sentenced to nine years in prison for her third and fourth drunk-driving convictions, in which she drove her car head-on into another vehicle and injured four people, according to the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office.

Mickensey Oliveira, 35, pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level 3.5 times the legal limit in Riverbank on Oct. 27, 2011. She also admitted to enhancements for inflicting great bodily injury on two victims, having served a prior prison term and having two prior DUI convictions.

Oliveira was driving west on Patterson Road near Oakdale Road when she crossed into oncoming traffic and hit the other car. Four people were injured, two of them severely. Her blood alcohol level was 0.28 percent.

Oliveira also pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI for which she was arrested two months prior to the crash and a felony assault charge stemming from a bar fight she was involved in two months later.
