A fight among several drunk people led to some bad decisions that ultimately resulted in three arrests, Turlock police said.
According to authorities, police were called to a fight in the 200 block of Angelus Tuesday evening. They found a fight in progress among “a group of non-cooperative intoxicated subjects,” according to a police report.
Police arrested Laura Cortez, 27, on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon after she allegedly hit two victims in the head with a bottle.
After the parties were separated, Britney Mays, 19, assaulted another woman in front of officers, police said. They arrested her on a battery charge.
At that point, Andrew Moreno, 19, “decided to interfere in the investigation” and was arrested on a charge of obstruction.
