Search in Turlock yields meth, arrest

Turlock police arrested a 60-year-old man on drug charges after finding him in possession of more than 40 bags of methamphetamine, authorities said.

According to a news release the department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 1000 block of North Olive Avenue on Tuesday.

Detectives located and seized the individually packaged bags of crystal methamphetamine, totaling over 30 grams.

They also reportedly found additional packaging, cash and other items associated with the sale of narcotics. Roberto Gamboa was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine for sales, and transportation of methamphetamine.
