Suspect sought after 2 stabbed in Modesto

Police are looking for a 20-year-old Modesto man after a stabbing left two people hurt in southwest Modesto.
According to police reports, James Ingram was involved in an argument with family members of a woman he was dating when the fight turned physical.
Ingram reportedly stabbed an 18-year-old sibling of the woman in the stomach, and a 37-year-old family member in the chest.
The incident took place in the 800 block of Fourth Street just before 11 p.m. Monday.
The 37-year-old was taken to a hospital, where the victim underwent surgery. Ingram left the scene and is wanted on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
