A woman Ripon police say stole $200 worth of lingerie was arrested minutes after the alleged theft.

Police received a call at about 11:30 Friday morning on a report of a woman suspected of stealing lingerie from All About The Girls, a store on Main Street that sells custom-fitted bras and other women's wear.

Ripon dispatchers immediately broadcast a description of the suspect, who was spotted about a minute later by Officer Kyle Gomes, according to Lt. Steve Merchant.

He said the woman, identified as Anne Ashlock, 28, of Ripon, admitted to Gomes that she was responsible for the theft. Property from the store was found in her possession.

Police also found property reportedly stolen from Devine Décor, another business on Main Street, in Ashlock's possession.

Ashlock was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on felony burglary charges.
