Structure fire spreads to wildland in Calaveras County

Firefighters are working a fire near the area of South Burson and Dana roads in Calaveras County, authorities said Friday.

The incident started as a structure fire, but the flames have spread to wildland in the area.

Residents have been notified, but there were no mandatory evacuations Friday afternoon.

South Burson Road from Warren Road to Highway 26 is closed due to smoke and fire personnel working at the scene.
