Sonora woman arrested on drug, theft charges

Sonora police found drugs and sales records when they detained a woman Monday afternoon.

According to a news release, officers saw Roxann Tracy, 30, of Sonora sitting at the side of a business at 15 Pesce Way at 5:03 p.m.

After conducting a records check, officers learned that Tracy had a warrant for her arrest on charges of auto theft and possession of a controlled substance.

When they searched her, police reportedly found a quarter-ounce of methamphetamine packaged in individual bags for sale, as well as transaction records, cash and a methamphetamine pipe.

Tracy was booked at the Tuolumne County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as on the original warrant.
