Auto theft suspects force lockdown at Modesto's Enochs High

Enochs High School was placed on lockdown for a short time Tuesday afternoon after two auto theft suspects entered the northeast Modesto campus, police said.

Enochs High School was placed on lockdown for a short time Tuesday afternoon after two auto theft suspects entered the northeast Modesto campus, police said.

The suspects — a man and a woman — were apprehended in about 10 minutes. The lockdown, which occurred at about 12:30 p.m., then was lifted. T

hree people eventually were taken into custody by Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department deputies.
