Four Modesto residents were arrested on drug charges in Ripon over the weekend. On Friday afternoon, an officer pulled over a Lincoln Town Car with expired registration.
Officers learned that the driver, Chanaile Danay Cummings, 26, had a suspended license and one of the passengers was on active parole, according to Sgt. Steve Merchant.
As one of the passengers got out of the vehicle, a prescription bottle dropped to the ground. The car then was searched, Merchant said.
Prescription drugs, concentrated marijuana and controlled substance paraphernalia were discovered.
Cummings was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis, possession of prescription medications and driving with a suspended license.
Linda Laverne Armentrout, 56, was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Zetty Mae Yrigoyen, 27, was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis, destruction of evidence and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Lance Ob Fountain, 35, was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis and possession of prescription medications.
