Two men dressed in pea coats robbed the Bank of the West on Modesto's Oakdale Road on Tuesday morning.
The suspects entered the bank at 1401 Oakdale Road just before noon and approached a teller, according to Modesto police Lt. Rick Armendariz.
One of the robbers, described as black, 5 feet 8, and wearing a hat and glasses, handed the teller a note indicating that he and his counterpart were holding up the bank. No weapons were seen.
The teller gave them an undisclosed amount of money and they left in a vehicle, possibly occupied by two other men.
The vehicle was abandoned nearby and was found to have been stolen in Stockton, Armendariz said.
