High-speed chase across Turlock, Ceres and Keyes ends in two arrests

A police pursuit skirting Turlock, Ceres and Keyes topped speeds of 100 mph early Monday before the the car being chased was damaged while driving across railroad tracks in Ceres and its occupants tried to escape on foot.
The pursuit began about 4:30 a.m. near West Main Street and South Tegner Road in Turlock when an officer spotted a car reportedly associated with a man wanted on a parole violation.
Ceres police and the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department helped Turlock police in the 30-minute chase.
Police arrested driver Chelsea Webb, 18, of Turlock near Whitmore and Railroad avenues in Ceres. A canine unit found Carlos Vigil, 37, of Turlock hiding in a tree nearby. Officials identified him as the wanted parolee.
