Patterson Police Services deputies seized more than a 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine from the home of a suspected drug dealer where two young children lived.
Deputies developed information that Jose Angel Fuentes, 36, was selling methamphetamine out of a home in the 19000 block of Paradise Avenue, outside the city limits, said Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Sgt. Anthony Bejaran.
They searched the home Thursday morning with the use of canine that located the methamphetamine. Also located was a firearm, ammunition and a large amount of cash.
Bejaran said two children, both age 6, were living in the home and present when drugs were being sold.
Fuentes was arrested on suspicion of causing willful harm or injury to a child, possession of a controlled substance for sale and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
