40 YEARS AGO: Three area hospitals, out of 23 California hospitals surveyed, earned their accreditation. Doctors Hospital of Modesto, Del Puerto Hospital of Patterson and Turlock Community Hospital earned their accreditation from the California Medical Association and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.
