Catwoman, Joker and Harley Quinn all turned out for Batman’s 75th anniversary celebration Wednesday at Bonanza Books & Comics on McHenry Avenue in Modesto. Good thing for them that the Dark Knight himself couldn’t break away from his day job – some place called Wayne Enterprises. Fans of all ages turned out to have their photos taken and get commemorative paper masks, a reproduction of Batman’s debut comic and a plastic shopping bag marking “75 Years of Batman.” Sky High Comics in Turlock and Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Modesto also celebrated Batday.
