Modesto-area teens can get disaster tips at Stanislaus County Library

Several branches of the Stanislaus County Library will host a Zombie Preparedness program to help teens prepare for real-life disasters.

The Stanislaus County Library is carrying the zombie theme into a series of disaster-preparedness events for teens.

Four of its branches will hold talks this month by David Baker on “Zombie Preparedness.” Teens will learn how to prepare for an emergency and learn survival skills. They then can assemble safety kits to take home.
