Horse, cattle events get jump on Stanislaus fair

The Stanislaus County Fair continued its prefair horse and cattle events Monday morning with the Hunter Hack 4-H/FFA English horsemanship riding competition in the FoodMaxx Arena.

Each entrant is judged on how well the horse jumps, walks, trots and canters. This morning at 7:30 will be the 4-H/FFA Showmanship event, followed by 4-H/FFA Western. Wednesday will bring 4-H/FFA Gymkhana at 7:30 a.m., with open Gymkhana on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The Stanislaus County Fair runs July 11-20.
