75 YEARS AGO: The Elks Lodge announced plans for Flag Day. The lodge planned a parade through downtown followed by a program of events that were to be held at the lodge. The Elks also announced that the governor, Culbert L. Olson, was invited to the event. Olson tentatively accepted the invitation.
