After spiking earlier this week, temperatures in the Northern San Joaquin Valley have taken a refreshing dip.
The high in Modesto for today and Friday is expected to be 87, the National Weather Service says. That’s normal for this time of year.
Temperatures will creep up a bit for the weekend, with highs in the low 90s. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 50s to about 60.
Early next week looks to be more of the same, with highs in the low 90s and no sign of triple digits.
