It will feature humor and music by Bill Roberson, displays on outdoor recreation, a free hot dog lunch and an award ceremony. Smokey Bear, Sammy & Frances Fish and Woodsy Owl will attend.
Registration will be from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Pinecrest Amphitheater. Activities will run until 1 p.m. Pinecrest is off Highway 108 about 30 miles east of Sonora.
The co-sponsors include Pinecrest Lake Resort, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Kiwanis Club of Sonora and the Stanislaus National Forest Employees Association.
