The 53-year-old Modesto woman who died in a McHenry Avenue crash was identified Friday as Deanna Senft.
Shortly after midnight Wednesday, Senft was driving a four-door 2000 Taurus south on McHenry at the same time a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado was heading west on Sylvan Avenue approaching the intersection.
Senft ran the red light and her sedan hit the truck, then a second vehicle and several light and telephone poles, according to police.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Two male occupants of the pickup managed to crawl out of the truck with only minor injuries.
Authorities ask anyone who saw the crash or who has information about it to contact traffic officer Scott Nelson at (209) 652-2160.
