75 YEARS AGO: The Retailers Credit Association of Modesto held a dinner meeting at Taza’s Restaurant. Special guest speaker J.N. Waterhouse of San Francisco, a central credit manager for a large lead company, spoke to the group on credit control. The retailers association was planning to have monthly dinner meetings, with guest speakers, in the future.
