The Yosemite Community College District board is seeking applicants for its Measure E Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee in these categories: business organization representative (such as a member of a local chamber of commerce), student representative (attending Columbia College) and at-large representative (living within YCCD boundaries).
The term lasts two years, and employees or officials of YCCD, vendors, contractors or consultants of the district are not eligible.
The chancellor and trustees will screen applications this month for a November appointment to the CBOC.
Measure E is a $326 million bond measure passed in 2004 for building and improvements. The panel meets quarterly to review expenditures and prepare an annual report.
Applications can be obtained from the YCCD Chancellor’s Office, 2201 Blue Gum Ave., Modesto 95352; by calling (209)575-6509; or at www.yosemite.edu/bond/committee. Applications will be accepted until the qualified applicant pool is sufficient.
