5K, 10K races to benefit the visually impaired

The fifth annual Keep Moving Forward 5K and 10K Run/Walk benefiting Visually Impaired Persons Support begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at Galaxy Theatres in Riverbank.
Registration is available at www.active.com. Pre-registration is $25 through today.
After that, registration is $30. Preregistered participants will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag.
Proceeds from the run will help offset costs for those in need of VIPS services. The nonprofit assists visually impaired people in Stanislaus County through living skills training, access technology training, orientation and mobility training, Braille instruction and support group counseling.
