Refrigeration pipe leak at Turlock Costco

Turlock's Costco store opened at 11:30 a.m. after a refrigeration pipe leak caused a delay.

Turlock firefighters were called to the store on North Tegner Road this morning after a refrigeration pipe broke open.

The call came in at 8:45 a.m.

Fire Marshal Mark Gomez said firefighters are airing out the building, which was evacauted as a precaution against the leaking gas, but no injuries have been reported.

There is no danger to the surrounding area, he added.
