On the longest night of the year Modesto's Salvation Army gathered the community to honor the eleven known homeless from the area who died in the past 12 months. About 80 folks showed up to the Salvation Army's homeless shelter chapel at 9th and D streets including Adam Grider (left), who lost a friend this past year, and Jason Robinson seated next to him.
