Turlock man attacked, robbed in visit to female friend

Turlock police are looking for a robbery suspect after he allegedly attacked another man and stole the victim's phone Thursday night.

According to Lt. Nino Amirfar, the victim called police at 10:46 p.m. from Ken's Car Wash at North Golden State Boulevard and Almond Avenue.

The victim told officers that a female friend had invited him to her home. Once he arrived, police said, Scott Rocha, 32, assaulted him, taking his cell phone.

Amirfar said the victim was taken to Emanuel Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. T

he nature of his injuries wasn't clear, but they didn't seem to be serious, Amirfar said.

Police are looking for Rocha and ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call detectives at (209) 668-1200.
