The Oakdale Testicle Festival celebrated its 29th year of having a ball at the FES Hall in Oakdale. About 425 people attended the event and helped eat 425 pounds of genuine rocky mountain oysters, or calf fries, which took over three hours to cook at Medlin's House of Beef. The recipe hasn't changed much of late. "We settled on this recipe years ago and it tastes great," said Lee Scaief, calf fry chef of 28 years. "We're not changing a thing." The festival, sponsored by the Oakdale Cowboy Museum and Oakdale Rotary Club, included an open bar, raffle, and live auction.
