We have enjoyed all of the “Stocking Stuffer” items sent our way this year, but we must admit we are a bit partial to those, such as today’s, that feature a bee in a starring role. Scoopy’s relative adorns a travel candle available at a rural Stanislaus County home and patio shop. Throughout the holiday season, we are offering suggestions of gifts for $20 or less, available at local merchants.
Name of the store: Ebb ’n’ Flow: Patio, Home and Garden
Item: Travel candles by TokyoMilk
Item description: Travel candle fans like them because they bring the smell of home to any far-flung destination. Of course, they also can be used at home, as well.
This is a perfect gift for: A traveler or fan of candles ... or bees.
About the store: Ebb n’ Flow: Patio, Home and Garden, which opened in April 2007, sits on 20 acres on Crows Landing Road at West Main Street outside Turlock – though the address is listed as Crows Landing. The store carries goods ranging from indoor and outdoor furniture to custom pieces made from recycled and renewed barn wood, as well as patio and garden accessories and antiques.
Pertinent info: The store is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. and by appointment. Call or text (209)604-2617.
