It’s another warm day ahead in the Northern San Joaquin Valley. But forecasters don’t expect it to be as toasty as it was the last couple of days, and temperatures are expected to drop about 10 degrees by the end of the work week, only to ramp up again over the weekend.
Got all that?
The weird up-and-down weather the area has been experiencing continues this week, with a high of 91 expected today before a system moving in brings clouds, breezes and lower temperatures — but no rain — the National Weather Service says.
Come Thursday, the high is expected to reach 83, which is about normal for this time of year. The system will bring a chance of rain to the north of us but nothing is forecast locally.
Friday will be more of the same, with high temperatures returning to the 90 range Saturday and Sunday. That’s anywhere from 4 to 10 degrees higher than normal for this time of this year, forecasters say.
