If your idea of great weather is partly cloudy with highs in the 60s, you’re in for a treat over the next several days. That’s what forecasters are predicting in the Northern San Joaquin Valley, with lows in the high 30s and patchy night and morning fog.
Today, the National Weather Service has issued a fog advisory until 9 a.m.
Saturday looks to be a bit cooler than today, with a high of 63. Sunday will be a gorgeous high of 66, not that most people will be outside to see it, as the Super Bowl kicks off at 3:30 p.m. local time.
Early next week looks like more of the same, but come Thursday there’s a chance of much-needed rain in the Modesto area. After starting off the water year with a few strong storms, there hasn’t been much rain lately to fill reservoirs, nor snow to load the snowpack.
Rain is expected Friday as well, before clearing out for the following weekend.
