Yosemite National Park officials announced Monday they are now recruiting for 300 summer-season jobs.
The positions, which pay between $16 and $22 an hour, include backcountry rangers, entrance station rangers, custodians, forestry technicians, utility systems operators, administrative assistants and traffic control rangers.
The job announcements are posted online at usajobs.gov through the end of January. Yosemite officials said they also welcome applicants from “diverse backgrounds across the nation” who may be eligible to receive preference when applying for jobs.
Jobs are also available at other national parks. The National Park Service employs more than 20,000 employees.
