GARDEN CLUB MEETING

ARTS EDUCATION MEETING

DESIGNER SHOWCASE PREMIÈRE

INFO: The Center for Human Services Board of Trustees will hold a Designer Showcase Première. The wine and hors d'oeuvres reception will showcase the interiors of local designers and artists. Tickets are $15. This event will kick off a 30-day designer showcase starting Monday and running through Dec. 11. The showcase will run weekdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. or by appointment. ARTWORK FUND-RAISER

CHILD BIRTH PREPARATION

WHERE: Emanuel Medical Center, Conference Room C, 825 Delbon Ave.
INFO: Emanuel Medical Center will hold a weekend childbirth preparation course. Preregistration and $40 fee are required. The class will focus on relaxation and coping skills needed for labor and birth, the birth process, infant care, breast-feeding, cesarean birth and postpartum care. A tour of the Mary Stuart Rogers Birthing Center will be included. Class is limited to 12 couples. For more information, call 664-2580.

INFO: Ceres American Legion Auxiliary Unit 491 and Ceres American Legion Post 491 will hold "A Night to Remember Our Veterans." There will be dinner, dancing and a live auction.
