MJC TRANSFER DAY NEXT WEEK

High school and college students will have a chance to pick up information and ask questions of representatives from more than 33 four-year colleges and universities at Modesto Junior College's Transfer Day and College Night scheduled Tuesday in the Student Center on the east campus, 435 College Ave. Both events are free and open to college students, high school students and their parents.

Transfer Day is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and targets MJC students seeking information about transferring to a four-year college. College Night assists high school students in making plans to pursue a higher education.

The evening will begin with a panel presentation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Performing and Media Arts Center on the east campus. After the presentation, college representatives will be available at information tables from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Student Center.

Representatives from four-year colleges and universities will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about their institutions, including academic programs, admission procedures, transfers, financial aid, student life and more.

For more information, call the MJC Career Development and Transfer Center at 575-6239.
