The Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District today is holding a special meeting to discuss English curriculum at Orestimba High School.

The school board last year yanked "Bless Me, Ultima" from a sophomore English class. More titles might be pulled from classes but left in the school's library.

The school board is scheduled to meet at noon in the McConnell Adult Education Center, 1348 Patchett Drive, Newman.
