DELAYS, DETOURS FOR WEEK AHEAD
- Pelandale Avenue is being widened from Dale Road to just east of McHenry Avenue. Delays could occur through mid-November.
- Road grading has started on the improvement and signalization project on State Route 219, Kiernan Avenue at Dale Road. Project completion is scheduled for January.
- H Street is being rebuilt from 17th Street to Scenic Drive and Burney Street. H Street will be closed to traffic from Scenic Drive to 17th Street from Sept. 14 through mid-October. Completion is scheduled for November.
- Related to the H Street, project, a Pacific Gas and Electric gas line is being relocated along Burney Street from La Loma Avenue to H Street. Completion is scheduled for early October. Burney Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from La Loma Avenue to H Street. Traffic controls will be in place for the duration of the project; detours will be available and fluctuate as construction progresses. Completion is scheduled for early October.
- The city of Modesto is installing new water mains and doing road repairs on Ninth Street from I Street to D Street from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Completion is scheduled for October.
- A water main relocation on McHenry Avenue is scheduled to start Thursday. Work will take place between 8 p.m. and 5 p.m.; multiple lanes of McHenry will be closed just south of Briggsmore Avenue.
- Work continues on storm drain installations throughout the northern part of Keyes.
- Stanislaus County crews are resurfacing or painting the following roads this week: Eastin Road, Ward Avenue, Marshall Road, River Road and Villa Manucha Road.
