A shooting on Crows Landing Road injured two adult men early Sunday, the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department reported. The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. near taco trucks in the 1600 block of Crows Landing, just south of East Hatch Road, Undersheriff Bill Heyne said. Callers to 911 reported hearing 10 or 12 shots. Both victims were hospitalized. One is in critical condition, the other is in critical but stable condition, Heyne said. Authorities are not releasing the victims' names. The shooting is believed to be gang-related, Heyne said. Sheriff's deputies are looking for a bald Latino man in his 20s or 30s with a moustache, Heyne said. The suspect was last seen in a white Cadillac Escalade. Authorities ask anyone with information about the shooting to call Detective Ken Hedrick at 525-7083 or Crime Stoppers at 521-4636.
