Six people were arrested Friday after a gang-related fight at a campground at Woodward Reservoir, north of Oakdale.
The fight, involving 13 to 14 combatants, started after a group from Lodi began harassing a couple at the campground on the east side of the reservoir, said Lt. Mike Parker of the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.
A group from Modesto came to the defense of the couple and the fight started. About a dozen deputies, supported by officers from the Modesto and Oakdale police departments, responded shortly after 5 p.m.
Three adults and three juveniles, all from Lodi, were taken into custody because they resisted and obstructed officers, Parker said.
Witnesses told deputies they saw baseball bats and other weapons during the fracas but there were no serious injuries.
