Firefighters battle blaze on Crows Landing Road

Modesto and Ceres firefighters were battling a blaze in a strip mall on Crows Landing Road early Saturday morning.

The three-alarm fire at 1918 Crows Landing Road began just after midnight, according to Captain Mike Perea of the Modesto Fire Department.

Nine Modesto engines and one from Ceres, along with three chief officers, were on the scene.

As of 1:25 a.m., there were no reported injuries, or if the blaze had been fully contained, according to Perea.
