Tuolumne County Sheriff Jim Mele has scheduled a town hall meeting in Groveland on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be at Groveland Community Hall, 18720 Main St. In a news release, Mele said the purpose of the meeting is to "improve and strengthen the communication and partnership between the community and law enforcement." Officials are seeking input from community members and will introduce several members of the department.
