Yosemite worker killed

Yosemite National Park officials said a worker who had been reported missing Sunday was found dead Monday afternoon.

Rangers found Christopher Hale, 23, of Gainesville, Fla., at 1 p.m. He apparently fell from a cliff face above Mirror Lake in eastern Yosemite Valley, authorities said.

Hale was an employee of concessionaire DNC Parks and Resorts at Yosemite Inc. He was training in Yosemite Valley and was slated to work at White Wolf.

The incident, and his cause of death, were under investigation.
