Wasden will start new job June 19

New Turlock City Manager Roy Wasden said Wednesday that his first official day on the job will be June 19.

Wasden, currently Modesto's police chief, was appointed by the Turlock City Council on May 12 by a 3-1 vote. He will replace Gary Hampton, who took the role on an interim basis after the firing of Tim Kerr in January.
