Modesto residents can weigh in on Mancini Park changes

Residents can comment tonight on potential designs for improvements to Mancini Park on River Road.

Modesto plans to upgrade the playground and improve the parking lot. Several new features are in the works, such as a native plant garden, basketball court, shade structures, picnic area and a connection to the Tuolumne River across River Road.

The meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tuolumne Elementary School cafeteria, 707 Herndon Ave.
