Sonora session on fire-safe landscaping

Homeowners in Sonora and surrounding communities are invited to a public meeting Jan. 10 to listen to a panel discussion on the use of herbicides to restore fire-safe landscaping around their homes.

The Highway 108 FireSafe Council meeting is scheduled from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the conference room of the Sonora Fire Department Station 75, 201 S. Shepherd St., Sonora.
