Info: The American Lung Association's Freedom From Smoking program is offering a workshop on skills needed to quit smoking. Freedom From Smoking is an eight-session stop-smoking program that includes stress management, assertive communication and exercise skills. The cost is free. KIDZ LOVE SOCCER
When: Fridays, Jan. 23 through March 13
Where: Smyrna Park, Moffet and Fowler roads

Info: Parents of special needs children are invited to January's Community Advisory Committee presentation on "Parenting an Autistic Child." This session will give parents ideas on how to teach new behaviors, decrease unwanted behaviors, and strategies on how to shape behaviors that may be used at home or in public.
