Groundbreaking set for Oak Valley Hospital

Oak Valley Hospital will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday to mark the start of work on its new building.

The ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. outside the emergency department entrance on the hospital grounds at 350 S. Oak Ave. Refreshments will be served after a brief ceremony.

The new building will hold an emergency room, operating rooms and outpatient rooms. It will be connected by a 7-foot corridor to the hospital's existing building.
