A Modesto man suspected in the Sept. 2 shooting death of a Hells Angel leader in San Francisco is in custody, police said.
Christopher Ablett, 37, turned himself in to authorities in Oklahoma on Saturday, San Francisco police said today. He is awaiting extradition.
The San Francisco district attorney's office had issued a $5 million arrest warrant for Ablett.
Police suspect Ablett, a member of the Mongols Motorcycle Club, of killing Mark Guardado, 46, who was the head of the Hells Angels San Francisco chapter.
Police last month raided the Modesto home Ablett shared with his parents and children and seized evidence, including a motorcycle, according to a police news release.
