YCCD board seeks Measure E members

The Yosemite Community College District board of trustees is seeking applications from people interested in serving on the YCCD Measure E Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee. The board needs a Modesto Junior College student and a member of a college support organization, such as a college foundation. Members oversee spending of a $326.1 million bond measure passed in November 2004. Applications can be obtained from the YCCD Chancellor's Office, 2201 Blue Gum Ave., Modesto, 95352. 75 YEARS AGO: With his putter behaving amazingly well, Fred Campbell, a pro at the Stanislaus Country Club, toured the 3,000-yard golf course in 33 strokes, 3 under par, setting a record for the course.
